INTRODUCTION

The Voortman V845 is a heavy laser tube & profile cutting machine. It’s designed for cutting heavy round tubes, square tubes, and even H/I beams with a maximum weight capacity of 3 tons. The loading support is equipped with a large clamping force device to ensure centering of the profile load. It can also adjust the clamping force for smaller and thinner profiles with high accuracy and precision, to prevent damaging the profiles.

INTUITIVE USE
OF CHUCKS

In the first stage, the product is clamped by the first and second chucks. For the final material, the third chuck clamps the right side, and the cutting head is positioned while the second chuck moves to cut the left side of the last pipe. Afterward, the third chuck pulls out the material, achieving zero tail material processing. This optimized 2-chuck mode ensures stability, while the third chuck engages for longer products to enhance precision, stability, and accuracy in end-of-pipe processing. The V845 model with the widest processing window has an additional fourth chuck for greater stability with heavier profiles.
