Voortman V200
Plate drilling
The Voortman V200 plate drilling machine is designed for carbide drilling, thread tapping, counter sinking and center point marking pre-cut steel plates. A servo-driven drilling unit and heavy load table are mounted on the sturdy frame, so the V200 can handle both small and large plate sizes.
High speed carbide drilling for quality holes
CARBIDE DRILLING
The V200 is equipped with a VD40 drilling unit for high speed drilling and capabilities including counter sinking and thread-tapping. Carbide-tipped drills provide excellent advantages, like high speed drilling, perfect hole quality and a long lifetime before changing carbide tips. Create more holes with less tool changes for increased output and less machine downtime.
HEAVY TABLE LOAD FOR LARGE PLATE SIZES
The V200 has a heavy table load capacity for processing large plates. It can process plates up to 2.400 mm (8') length, 1.000 mm width (40"), 60 mm thickness (2-3/8"), and with a maximum weight of 600 kg (1325 lbs).
Meets current quality standards
AUTOMATIC UNDERSIDE DEBURRING
Deburring is an important part of the workflow in order to meet current quality standards and produce products that are immediately available after processing. The V200 comes equipped with an automatic deburring unit, which can reduce total costs per part up to 30% versus running deburring and edge finishing operations on precision parts manually. The deburring unit also help extend drill lifetime, since you don’t need to replace drill consumables with the first signs of burr from worn down drills. Products are ready for immediate handling without risk of injury from burrs.
INTEGRATION IN YOUR WORKSHOP
DSTV or DXF files can be loaded into the V200’s VACAM control software, or imported at Works Preparation in VACAM Office edition and sent immediately out to the machine controls as well. Operations like layout marks or holes can be added or deleted with VACAD Editor, or complete new products can be created from scratch.
The operator loads the correct pre-cut product into the clamp by pressing it against the machine’s datum line and then presses the start button. The V200 completes all operations before sending the finished part back to the operator. Next product!
When round products or those that don’t have perfect or perpendicular edges for proper alignment with the datum line, a die can be created for fast loading and defining the zero point quickly and easily. The more the loading cycle is optimized, the better the machine’s uptime.
