Karçel A.Ş opts for automation and efficiency

Karçel A.Ş is a well-known Turkish steel structure factory located in Karabük. With an impressive area spanning 40,000 m2, Karçel A.Ş has been meeting the steel construction needs of both domestic and international clients since the 1950's. From factory buildings and power transmission lines to bridges and sport halls, Karçel A.Ş covers it all. To meet customer demands for angle and drilled plate parts, they invested in two Voortman machines, the V200 plate drilling system and the V505-160M punching and shearing system. These machines operate in two shifts, producing high-quality products quickly. CICON boosts material efficiency and enhances productivity

CICON is a large company in United Arab Emirates supplying reinforcement steel and steel construction to the concrete industry. Even under the COVID-19 measurements, Voortman commissioned a new V320 plate drilling and cutting machine at CICON in Abu Dhabi. The company has an experienced team and with the new V320 they have automated capabilities such as plasma cutting, countersinking, drilling, tapping, layout marking and more on one machine. CICON increased their material efficiency and improved the productivity. But that's not all - they've also made a strategic investment in a top-of-the-line drill/saw combination for their beam processing.

Dorçe increases their production speed and accuracy through automation

Dorçe is a Turkish general contractor provides engineering, procurement and construction services for projects. With one of the largest prefabricated steel structures manufacturing facilities in the world, located in Ankara, Turkey, Dorçe is truly a force to be reckoned with.
