Novopolotsk embraces automation with integrated machine line
Novopolotsk is a large metal structure company based in Belarus. They produce industrial metal structures mostly for the petrochemical industry, metal structures used in civil construction and for non-standard equipment like reservoirs and tanks. The company currently employs approximately 415 employees with a turnover of 15 million euro’s per year. In order to stay ahead of the game and meet European standards, Novopolotsk made the bold decision to embrace automation. Inspired by their visit to the EuroBLECH exhibition, they made a strategic investment in five cutting-edge Voortman machines. Among these, three machines have been seamlessly integrated into an impressive automated profile processing line. Including the powerful V630 beam drilling machine, the versatile VB1250 sawing machine, and the innovative robotic coping machine, these machines are connected by cross transports and roller conveyors.
