VISA
If you are planning a short stay in the Netherlands you may need a visa. Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality. The Netherlands is one of the 26 European countries forming the Schengen Area which have no border controls between them. These countries issue a common visa, the Schengen visa. You can apply for a Schengen visa at the Dutch mission (embassy or consulate) in the country where you live. Consult the list of embassies and consulates that issue short stay (Schengen) visas to see where you can apply for a visa.
If you are travelling to the Schengen Area for the first time, you should certainly apply for your visa on time to make sure that you can travel on the dates you planned your visit. If you need help from Voortman with certain documents to complete your visa application please contact us by sending an e-mail to info@voortman.net.
